At Tripack, we work closely with our suppliers and directly contracted hotels to bring you the best options at amazing B2B rates.

With our strong supply and relationships, booking a hotel on our platform will secure a seamless experience for your customers. 

In rare cases of check-in denied issues, we offer an alternative stay of equal or higher value within the same hotel or a nearby hotel. 

If check-in denied? Claim a compensation!

Get up to 50%* of the booking value in case of cancellation or change in hotel.

If the claim is eligible for compensation, we will notify the travel agent.

Steps to follow if check-in denied.

  • Hotel bookings must be done on the www.tripjack.com and customers must present a hotel booking voucher along with photo-id proof of all travelers during check-in. 
  • In case the customer is denied check-in, we request the travel partner to connect with our customer support instantly.
  • We will aim to provide accommodation in the same hotel or an alternate hotel within 5 kms.
  • If the customer decides to cancel or has been provided accommodation in an alternate hotel, travel partner can claim check-in denied compensation.

What is Check-in Guarantee Program?
  • In cases where check-in is denied on the original hotel booking, our aim is to provide a stay in the same hotel or an alternate hotel in the same category within 5 km.
  • In the rare case that the customer cancels or checks into an alternate hotel, the travel partner can claim compensation along with a full refund.
  • The check-in denied compensation is up to 50%* of the booking amount subject to verification. 
How does the Check-In Guarantee work?
  • Contact our customer support immediately on 022 6250 6250 and press 2 for hotels.
  • Share the booking details with our customer support staff.
  • We will connect with the hotel to get accommodation in the same hotel or an alternate hotel in the same category.
  • On a rare occasion, if the customer has to relocate to an alternate hotel or chooses to cancel the booking, our travel partner can claim check-in-denial compensation.
  • The travel partner has to email the claim within 48 hours of the check-in date with invoices and booking details.
When do you qualify for a compensation?
  • If check-in is denied and accommodation is provided in an alternate hotel.
  • If check-in is denied and the booking is cancelled.
When do you qualify for refund?
  • A refund is only applicable in cases of full cancellation after check-in is denied.
  • The travel partner is eligible for a 100% refund on the total base hotel price.
  • The refund will be credited within 5 to 7 working days after verification.
  • The refund will be credited to the original payment mode or Tripjack Wallet, as preferred by the travel partner.
  • A refund is not the same as check-in denied compensation.
What happens if the customer is a no show?
  • In the event of a no-show on the check-in date, the customer is not eligible for a check-in denied claim, and any refund shall be as per hotel policy and at the discretion of the hotel and Tripjack.
  • Customer reaching the hotel on the consecutive day or the following day seeking check-in, post-hotel marking ‘no show’ shall not be eligible for a claim.
What happens in case of check in denied as per hotel policy?
  • The “Check-in Guarantee Program” does not apply in cases wherein hotel check-in policy restrictions are not adhered to. E.g., hotels not allowing check-in to unmarried couples, proof of ID, etc., or any such nature wherein restrictions are implied by the hotel.
  • Refunds, if any, shall be as per hotel policy and at the discretion of the hotel and Tripjack.
  • If a customer attempts to check in before the official check-in time, the claim is not eligible.

  • All hotels listed on www.tripjack.com are eligible for the check-in guarantee program. 
  • There are 8 lakh+ worldwide hotels currently listed on the portal.

Terms and Conditions:

1.  Claims shall be applicable wherein the customer has reached the hotel on the check-in date and the hotel/accommodation partner has denied check-in.

2.  Any claim made for cases of early check-in & late check-out shall not be eligible.

3.  Hotel check-in time is solely as per hotels discretion, any claims raised before the hotels scheduled check-in time shall not be eligible.

4.  In the event of a no show i.e. the customer has not arrived on the scheduled check-in date, claim is not valid.

5.  Check-in Guarantee applies on all hotels booked on www.tripjack.com.

6.  The Check-in Guarantee program does not apply if hotel check-in policy is not adhered too. E.g. Hotels, not allowing check-in to unmarried couples, lack of ID proof, etc., or any such nature wherein restrictions are imposed by the hotel.

7.  In cases where the city is sold out or there are tech issues claim eligibility will be on a case-to-case basis subject to Tripjack's discretion.

8.  The Check-in Guarantee program claim is only applicable in cases where a of refund is processed or alternate hotel accommodation is provided.

9.  Any issue other than check-in is not eligible for claim process.

10.  The compensation amount shall be credited only to the TJ Wallet, the compensation claim shall be only utilized for hotel bookings.

11. Tripjack reserves the absolute right to withdraw and/or alter any of the terms and conditions of the program at any time without prior notice.

12. Tripjack is the sole authority for interpretation of these terms.

13. Tripjack shall not be liable for any indirect, punitive, special, incidental or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the program.
